This policy explains how Softcode Systems, LLC ("Softcode," "we," "us") handles information on softcode.com. It does not cover our mobile apps, which have their own policies: Radiology Toolbox.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to respond to you.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and referring site. This data is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and we do not combine this data with information that identifies you personally.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google Analytics is turned off by default and stores no analytics cookies. When a consent banner is available, we will turn analytics on only if you opt in. Until then, analytics does not run for visitors in those regions.

You can opt out by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

How we use information

Sharing

Health information

This website is not designed to receive protected health information. Please do not send patient information or other health data through this site or by email to us.

Retention

We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and for our records, then delete it. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you may opt out of future communications. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including:

• California residents (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
• EEA, UK, and Swiss residents (GDPR): the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal bases are consent (analytics cookies) and legitimate interests (responding to your inquiries and securing the site).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

This site links to third-party sites, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and the Apple App Store. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
